PAKISTAN: A GATEWAY TO PEACE AND HOSPITALITY

Pakistan is home to world’s ancient civilizations. Whether it be Sikhism, Jainism, Buddhism, or Hinduism. All started in ancient Pakistan. Although Pakistan came into being in 1947 but the area that constitutes to Pakistan is composed of the lands where all these religions and world’s oldest civilizations flourished.
 Baba Guru Nanak, the pioneer of the Sikh religion was born in Nankana Sahib district near Lahore and passed away in Kartarpur Sahib near Narowal. Both of these places are very dear to Sikhs and the lovers of Baba G. Katas Raj Temple is another place of religious tourists’ interest in Pakistan. according to Hindu beliefs (Puranas), the temple pond was filled with the tears of Shiva.


 He wept there because of the passage of his wife Sati. The temple is located near KallarKahar near Islamabad. Mohenjo Daro is another site of interest for the lovers of ancient civilizations. It flourished in the area around 4,000 years ago. Now a UNESCO site in Sindh.
 It is contemporary to the ancient societies of Mesopotamia, Egypt and Norte Chico. Due to Pakistan’s open arm policy and nation’s unmatchable hospitality, British Backpacker Society declared it the most adventurous land. Forbes ranked Pakistan as the coolest place on fa├žade of earth and Conde Nast listed it among the top ten destinations for 2020.
 Had it there not been coronavirus epidemic. Pakistan would have almost a million tourists this year. Let’s hope for the best and wait what unfolds tomorrow…

  1. In pakistan there is no race nor as a pakistani am i allowed to call another person a non muslim in a musliim country. Thats how much i love my country and willing to go through it all, proposing a manifestation of its kind.
